NoobClaw script-to-video setup: save a local draft

Use NoobClaw’s desktop stock-video workflow to narrate your own script, select online visuals and export a local MP4 for review. Generation and social publishing are separate choices.

Checked on 10 October 2026 in the Chinese desktop interface. The control names below give an English description followed by the tested Chinese label where useful.

What the test actually produced

We supplied an original 441-character English script, selected one output and chose local-only saving. The finished file was 32.6 seconds, 1080×1920, 30 frames per second, with H.264 video and an AAC audio stream. Sampled frames showed burned-in English subtitles.

The recorded run lasted 4 minutes 57 seconds, including online material search and downloads. This is one execution, not a speed estimate for other scripts or machines. The interface estimated 98 seconds using a Chinese character-rate heuristic; that estimate did not predict the English narration’s actual length.

Some selected footage was generic or off-topic. We verified an export, not a finished commercial edit, natural pronunciation, platform publication or audience performance. The output needs scene-by-scene review.

Before you start

Set up one local-only video

  1. Open New task → Multi-platform video creation → Online stock / AI narration (新建任务 → 多平台视频创作 → 在线素材 · AI 口播日更). Select an existing profile to supply the account context.
  2. Choose Strictly read my script (严格按我的视频文案) and paste your text. This walkthrough uses supplied text; choosing the AI-reference mode is a different writing path.
  3. Choose Online stock (在线素材库), 9:16 and a shot-change pace. Our test used the 4-second option. The wizard also offered local uploads; that path was not tested here.
  4. Under audio, select Microsoft Edge → American English → Jenny (微软 Edge → 英文 · 美式). Our test used no background music. Voice availability may change.
  5. Keep Burn subtitles (烧录字幕) enabled. We selected medium white text, a black outline and the bottom position. Review the resulting layout against the actual visuals.
  6. Set the quantity to 1, frequency to Do not repeat (不重复), and output to Save locally, do not upload (存本地不上传).
  7. Continue to the final step. Confirm that it says local-only output, then create the task. On the task page, start one run and inspect the current-run log. A saved task is not yet a successful export.

Check the exported file before using it

Open the task’s output folder and play the resulting MP4. Confirm that the supplied points survived, the voice is understandable, subtitle lines are readable and each scene supports the narration. Replace unsuitable material or adjust the script before another run.

Our test log planned 7 scenes and recorded 28 subtitle segments. Those counts describe this run. They are not recommended counts for every video and do not prove that every scene or timing boundary was ideal.

Review the provenance and reuse conditions of any external material before publishing. Individual stock-clip licensing was outside this test. Keep the output local until you are satisfied with both its content and the destination’s requirements.

If you need more text before starting, use the script generator for a narration draft, the hook generator for an opening, or the caption generator for the post description. Each web tool has its own allowance; it does not export this desktop video.

Example supplied script

Start with one idea. If your video explains three unrelated things, write three separate drafts. Describe the viewer’s problem in the first line, then show a concrete step they can try. Keep the spoken script and the post caption separate: one is what you say, the other introduces the finished video. Read the script aloud, remove claims you cannot support, and adjust the timing. Review the visuals, voice and subtitles before you publish.

This is our editorial script. It was supplied directly to the desktop workflow, not returned by the web script generator. Do not present its statements as your own experience without checking them.

Common questions

Can I make a video without automatically publishing it?

Yes. The tested local-only option saved one MP4 without uploading to a social platform. Confirm the output mode before starting each task.

Does a connected profile mean the video must be uploaded?

No. Profile selection and output mode were separate steps in this tested wizard. A profile was required for its context; we still chose local-only output.

Will the English script match the estimated duration?

Use the exported duration and a playback check. The tested Chinese-rate estimate was 98 seconds, while the English export was 32.6 seconds.

Does export success mean the footage and subtitles are ready?

No. We saw readable subtitle samples and an exported file we could inspect, but some imagery was off-topic. Review the whole video, including audio and timing.
