Postiz Pricing (2026): Four Tiers, Zero Add-Ons, and One Page That Disagrees With Itself About the Cheapest Plan
- Postiz has four hosted plans: $29, $39, $49 and $99 a month for 5, 10, 30 and 100 channels. Annual billing brings them to $23, $31, $39 and $79.
- The same pricing page contradicts itself: the Standard card says "Unlimited posts per month", while the page FAQ says Standard includes 400 posts a month and 20 AI images.
- Per channel the price falls from $5.80 to $0.99, but AI video and clipping per dollar stop improving after Pro. Above Pro you are buying channels only.
- There are no add-ons at all. Every limit is a spec you can only raise by moving up a tier.
Most pricing pages hide their second limit. Postiz does something rarer: it prints two different answers on the same page. The Standard plan card says Unlimited posts per month. Scroll down to the FAQ on that same page and Standard is "5 channels, 400 posts/month".
If you are about to pick a Postiz plan, that one discrepancy is worth five minutes. Here is the full price grid as it stood on September 23, 2026, the math that the page does not do for you, and what self-hosting really moves off the bill.

Two things jump out. First, the per-channel price drops almost sixfold from Standard to Ultimate, which is steeper than most schedulers we track. Second, there is nothing to buy except a bigger plan. Channels, AI images, AI videos and clipping minutes are all fixed per tier; the page lists no add-ons. That makes the grid easy to read, and it means every limit is a wall rather than a price.
Team members are the other quiet split: Standard has none, Team and above say "Unlimited team members". If more than one person will post, Standard is not an option regardless of channel count.
The 400-post question: card vs FAQ
Here is the exact conflict. The plan card for Standard lists "5 channels", "Unlimited posts per month", "3 AI videos per month" and "60 minutes of AI video clipping per month", with no AI images line. The FAQ further down the page, in the answer about plans, says: "Standard — $29/mo. 5 channels, 400 posts/month, AI text, 20 AI images, 3 AI videos, public API, 2 webhooks." The Team, Pro and Ultimate entries in that same FAQ say "unlimited posts".
So only the cheapest tier is disputed, and it is disputed in two directions at once: posts (unlimited versus 400) and AI images (none versus 20).
When a pricing page gives two numbers for the same limit, the one that can hurt you is the one you should plan for.
What does 400 posts a month mean in practice? Spread across five channels, it is 80 posts per channel, or roughly two to three a day on each. That is plenty for a solo creator posting once a day. It is not enough if you run five accounts that each post several short videos daily. Until Postiz fixes one side of the page, assume Standard stops at 400, and ask support in writing if your plan depends on the other answer.
Where the value per dollar stops improving
Channel price keeps falling all the way up. The AI allowances do not:
- AI videos per dollar: Standard 0.10, Team 0.26, Pro 0.61, Ultimate 0.61.
- Clipping minutes per dollar: Standard 2.1, Team 3.1, Pro 6.1, Ultimate 6.1.
In other words, Pro is where AI value per dollar peaks. Doubling your spend from $49 to $99 doubles your AI allowance and does nothing to its rate, while it more than triples your channels. Upgrade to Ultimate for channel count, never for AI.
Put together, the grid suggests a simple way to choose. Pick by channels first, people second, AI last.
- Standard ($29): one person, up to five channels, light posting. Fine if 400 posts a month would never bind you and you do not need AI images.
- Team ($39): the cheapest plan with teammates, customer groups and RSS auto-posting. For a freelancer with two or three clients this is usually the floor.
- Pro ($49): only $10 more than Team for three times the channels and the best AI rate on the page. If you are between Team and Pro, the arithmetic almost always favors Pro.
- Ultimate ($99): worth it once you pass 30 channels. Below that you are paying for headroom you are not using.
Annual billing takes about 20% off every tier ($23, $31, $39, $79 per month), and the page states it that way ("annual billing saves about 20%"), which matches the arithmetic. We have seen other vendors' discount labels fail that check, so it is worth noting when one passes.

The limit that is not on any tier: shared platform quota
Every hosted scheduler publishes through its own developer apps on each platform, and those apps have their own quotas. For Postiz this stopped being theoretical in August: GitHub issue 1854 (opened August 7, 2026, still open on September 23) reports scheduled TikTok posts on Postiz Cloud failing with "Daily active user quota reached, please try again later" because the Postiz Cloud TikTok developer application hit its daily cap.
That is a pricing fact, even though no pricing page mentions it: on the hosted plans, your TikTok throughput shares a pool with every other Postiz Cloud customer. Paying for Ultimate does not buy you a bigger share. Our Postiz review covers that issue and the analytics bug in more detail.
Self-hosted Postiz: what moves off the bill, and what moves onto you
The open-source version costs nothing to license (AGPL-3.0). Self-hosting removes the plan grid entirely: no channel cap, no post cap, no AI allowance tiers. It also removes the shared quota problem, because you register your own developer apps.
What it adds:
- A server you own. Postiz's FAQ says it "must be a server that you owe", for example AWS, Azure, GCP, Railway, Hetzner or Coolify. Its size and cost depend on your usage.
- Platform app approvals. The FAQ is candid: approvals for Facebook, Instagram, Threads and YouTube "can usually take more than a month with multiple changes in the submissions, privacy policy and terms of service". Postiz offers paid help with this, but states "You don't have to pay for apps approval."
- Your own AI keys for any generation features, billed by whichever provider you use.
- Your own on-call. When a scheduled post silently fails, you are the one reading the logs.

If your real goal is many accounts that each post different content, it is worth knowing there is a third model beside hosted APIs and self-hosted APIs: tools that act through your own logged-in browser, such as NoobClaw. There is no developer app to approve and no shared quota, but you trade that for running the app on your own machine and carrying the platform risk of automation yourself. Keep a human reviewing posts whichever route you choose.
