Sendible vs Hootsuite (2026): Both Sell to Agencies — One Meters Workspaces, the Other Meters People
- Sendible: $35 to $750 a month for 1 to 50 workspaces, 6 profiles each, unlimited users. Hootsuite: $99 / $199 / $399 per seat, billed annually; no monthly price published.
- Any multi-person agency: Sendible is cheaper at every size we checked. One person with roughly 50+ profiles: one Hootsuite Professional seat wins.
- Sendible labels its daily limit (100 to 500) per workspace in its table but per user in its FAQ. Read one way, cost per send falls up the tiers; the other way, it rises.
- Hootsuite prints no posting limit for paid plans at all, only a 10 to 20 posts-per-day cap during the trial.
Agency owners compare these two for the same reason: both are sold as the tool for people who manage other people's brands. Then they open the pricing pages and find the two vendors are not metering the same thing. One charges for every person you add. The other lets you add people for free and charges for every client you add.
If you are searching "sendible vs hootsuite", your answer depends almost entirely on two numbers in your own operation: how many people need a login, and how many client profiles you run. There is also one number on Sendible's own page that you need to pin down before signing, because the page gives it two different units.
Two agency tools, two opposite meters
Sendible sells workspaces. It launched that unit in its 2026-08-18 changelog entry "Introducing Workspaces", and a workspace is effectively one client. Each workspace includes 6 social profiles. Every plan includes unlimited users, unlimited scheduling and unlimited AI credits. You can add workspaces one at a time with a stepper. On a monthly plan each extra workspace costs $35 on Core, $30 on Plus, $25 on Premium, $20 on Elite and $15 on Enterprise. On Plus and Premium that add-on is 9 to 12 percent cheaper than the plan's own average per workspace, so adding one is the better move there than upgrading.
Hootsuite sells seats. Its plans page, rendered 2026-09-23, carries Standard $99, Professional $199 and Advanced $399 per user per month, billed annually. Standard includes 10 social accounts. Professional and Advanced include unlimited accounts. No monthly-billing price appeared on the page, in its HTML, or in its structured data, so the table marks it "not published" and all comparisons below use annual figures on both sides.

Sources: sendible.com/pricing and hootsuite.com/plans, both checked 2026-09-23. Send-cap columns assume 30 days at the full daily limit. Sendible's FAQ still mentions older prices ("$349/month" for Elite, "$800/month" for Enterprise). The figures above come from the price cards, which the page repeats in its feature breakdown.
Sendible's daily limit is stated two ways, and they point in opposite directions
This is the part to settle before you sign. Sendible's comparison table labels the row "Daily posting limit per workspace": 100, 200, 300, 500, 500. Its FAQ says: "we apply a daily posting limit for each user. During the trial period, the limit is set to 100 posts per day per user."
These are not small wording differences. Take Elite. Read per workspace, 15 workspaces at 500 each allows 7,500 sends a day. Read per user, one person on Elite gets 500 a day, and five people get 2,500. The last two columns of the table show what that does to the cost of each send:
- Per workspace: the cost of a send falls as you move up tiers, from $0.0117 on Core to $0.0010 on Enterprise. Upgrading buys throughput cheaply.
- Per user, one person: the cost of a send rises as you move up tiers, from $0.0117 to $0.0500. Enterprise buys more workspaces and profiles, but not one extra send a day beyond Elite. Under this reading the lever is headcount. Every extra person adds a full daily allowance, and people cost nothing.
Same table, two readings of one word, and the cost curve runs in opposite directions. Ask the vendor which one applies and get the answer in writing.
For a traditional agency (a few posts a day per client) either reading is comfortable. The limit starts to matter for anyone running many profiles at high frequency. That is also where Hootsuite's lack of a printed limit looks attractive, though its page states no limit at all rather than guaranteeing an unlimited one.
Where each one wins: people, profiles and the crossover
Using annual prices on both sides:
- Four people, three clients, 18 profiles. Sendible Plus: $84.15 a month. Hootsuite needs Professional, because Standard stops at 10 accounts: 4 seats × $199 = $796. Sendible is nearly a tenth of the price.
- One person, 18 profiles. Sendible Plus $84.15 vs one Hootsuite Professional seat $199. Sendible still wins.
- One person, 48 profiles (8 workspaces). Sendible Premium plus one extra workspace: $169.15 + $21.25 = $190.40. Hootsuite: $199. Still Sendible, just.
- One person, 54 profiles (9 workspaces). Sendible $211.65 vs Hootsuite $199. This is the crossover. Past about 50 profiles, one Hootsuite seat covering unlimited accounts is the cheaper line.
- One person, 90 profiles. Sendible Elite $254.15 vs Hootsuite $199. Add a second person and Hootsuite becomes $398, and Sendible wins again.
So the pattern is simple. Hootsuite only wins when one seat is spread over many accounts. Sendible wins whenever more than one person needs to work, which for most agencies is always. A Capterra reviewer of Hootsuite put the team side of this bluntly: "Add-ons and user limits can make plans quite pricey fast" (David M., 28 November 2025). We ran the same seat logic for other tools in Hootsuite's per-seat pricing by team shape, and Sendible's workspace model against a per-channel biller in Sendible vs Buffer.
One caveat on the one-person scenario. A Sendible workspace is designed as one client, so a solo operator with fifty accounts for their own projects has to split them into workspaces of six to fit the model. Hootsuite's unlimited-accounts seat has no such grouping. If your accounts are all yours rather than your clients', that structural fit matters as much as the dollar crossover.
That solo, many-account operator is also a different buyer from the agency both tools are built for. When the pain is producing distinct content for dozens of your own accounts rather than approving posts for clients, a scheduler is not the missing piece. NoobClaw is one example of the other category. It runs your own accounts in separate local browser profiles on your own computer, with no passwords handed over, and uses AI to draft different content per account and handle engagement at a human pace. Keep a human review step on. Its pricing is on the site and in the app.
A checklist to take into both sales calls
- Count logins and profiles separately. Two or more logins favour Sendible almost regardless of profile count. One login with more than about 50 profiles favours Hootsuite Professional.
- Ask Sendible one question in writing: is the daily posting limit per workspace, per user, or per plan? Your cost per send depends on the answer.
- Ask Hootsuite for the monthly price. The plans page showed only annual billing on 2026-09-23.
- Price the next client, not today's. With Sendible that is one workspace ($15 to $35 a month depending on tier). With Hootsuite it is often nothing, unless that client comes with another person who needs a seat.
- Do not load-test either one on a trial. Hootsuite trials are capped at 10 to 20 posts a day per organization, and Sendible's FAQ puts trials at 100 posts per day per user.

FAQ: Sendible vs Hootsuite
Is Sendible cheaper than Hootsuite?
For any team where more than one person needs access, yes, usually by a wide margin, because Sendible includes unlimited users on every plan and Hootsuite charges per seat. For a single user managing roughly 50 or more profiles, one Hootsuite Professional seat ($199 a month billed annually) becomes cheaper.
What does Sendible's daily posting limit apply to?
The pricing page states it two ways. The comparison table says per workspace, and the FAQ says for each user. The limits are 100, 200, 300, 500 and 500 across Core to Enterprise. Confirm which applies before you plan high-frequency posting.
Does Hootsuite have a monthly plan?
The plans page on 2026-09-23 showed annual-billing prices only ($99, $199 and $399 per user per month). A month-to-month price was not published there, so ask sales if you need it.
